Marketing Success In a Recession

As many of you have probably noticed the whole world is reporting and feeding from all the doom and gloom. All you hear when your turn the channel or read an article is, "this company fired X-number of people", "the economy is doom", "that company CEO got paid to much", "be frugal dont spend in the economic downturn", "5 ways to make sure your job is recession proof".

Well Im here to tell you that having the economy like this is the best thing that can happen to someone who sees the opportunity. Now I dont want to profit off of misfortune, but there is money to be made when everyone and there mother is being laid off or loosing there business. The most wealthiest family's have been created during a recession.

Most of us know that the world is changing greatly. If you dont, you need to stop reading your newspaper and get a computer. The old model of doing business is not working and its being reported daily. The days of starting a traditional business with a building, loans, employees and great overhead are far and few in-between. Unless your in the health care field that model is a no-go!

Social Network Marketing or word of mouth, like my parents say, has become the new way. It has yet to reach its full potential in our economy but it has always been around. We've all done it at one time or another. Maybe you saw a movie that you liked then you went and hanged out with your friends and they ask you," how was the movie?". You tell them with all the excitement you can muster and next thing you know they are repeating the process of seeing it and telling it.

We've all probably heard that example and know what's going on but my question to you is, are you applying it? Or are you waiting to become a casualty of the economy. Just another "got fired and my house is in forclosure" story.

There are many ways to make it great in this economy. If I was you I would study affiliate marketing, viral marketing and social marketing. Do searches, read and take in all you can. I know I did, I was lucky to run into some people that mentored me and taught me all this years ago.

Here is my call to action for you:

Do your homework like I metioned earlier. Find a mentor who know's the in's and out's of social and viral marketing. Dont be afraid of spending money to get information. I spent close to $5000 in the first 1 year I got into business. In this world there is no such things as a "free lunch".

I have attached a link to a free 7 day video boot camp that will help you get started. They are by my great fried Mike Dillard. In this series he explains how to overcome the problems 95% of us have in this industry and how to overcome them. You will also learn how to get paid and fund your business through prospecting like the big dogs do.

These videos have really changed the way I do my business, and I think they can help you too. You can get free access to these videos here:
